Student Internship:
Members of the Teenedge.com Internship Program (TIP) learn about the virtual world of web publishing and how to connect to the “real world” of school, parents, friends, and much more. Through the tools of the worldwide web, interns provide a list of resources and opportunities for youth throughout the city, create a space for youth to voice their opinions about the issues that affect them, and raise awareness of critical issues for young people through web-based journalism. Furthermore, students learn about filming and editing videos about topics that are important to them!
During the summer, TIP interns meet every Tuesday, 9am-1pm. During the school year, interns meet every Tuesday 4pm-6pm.
Youth apply to become Teenedge interns. (No experience is needed.) You can download the application below or email TeenedgeOC@gmail.com .
